Before transitioning into agency recruiting, Mark was a front-end developer, an experience that gives him a deep, first-hand understanding of the skills and nuances that separate good talent from great talent. He doesn’t just screen for keywords; he evaluates architectural thinking and cross-functional communication abilities. He currently oversees our critical partnerships with emerging AI and biotech startups. Mark believes the best hires are found when you treat candidates as long-term strategic partners, not short-term targets. In his downtime, he hosts a local “Rails and Pints” meet-up, is a keen amateur astronomer, and spends his weekends teaching his twin daughters how to write their first lines of code.
